View Intraday Statement

Introduction

While customers of a bank can view the latest balance of their accounts maintained with the bank through e-Banking application, they would be interested in knowing the intraday balance of the other bank account registered with the home bank. In this option, user of e-Banking application can view intraday statement of the registered other bank accounts. The can even download the statement in SWIFT MT942 format.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that should be entered on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Search Criteria

Statement Date and Time

Select the date and time of the statement which needs to be displayed.

Note:

  • The values in this drop-down list will depend on the date and time of MT942 file received from the other bank.

  • The details will be available for the current date and last ‘N’ days where N is a parameter.

  • By default latest intraday statement will be displayed. User can choose any other intraday statement from this field.

Statement Details

This section will have two parts viz. Account Details and Transactions List

Account Details

Account details will display the values present in various fields (tags) of the SWIFT MT942 intra-day transaction report along with the corresponding tag numbers.

Statement Date and Time (Tag 13D)

Displays the date and time of the statement.

Statement Number (Tag 28C)

Displays the statement number. This field contains the sequential number of the statement.

Statement Reference Number (Tag 20)

Displays the statement reference number. This will be the unique number assigned by the sender of the statement.

Account Number (Tag 25)

Displays the account number.

Minimum Credit Amount (Tag 34F)

Displays the minimum credit amount to be reported in the statement.

Minimum Debit Amount (Tag 34F)

Displays the minimum debit amount to be reported in the statement.

Total Number of Credit Entries (Tag 90C)

Displays the total number of credit entries in the statement.

Total Credit Amount (Tag 90C)

Displays the total amount of credit in the statement.

Total Number of Debit Entries (Tag 90D)

Displays the total number of debit entries in the statement.

Total Debit Amount (Tag 90D)

Displays the total amount of debits in the statement.

Additional Details (Tag 86)

Displays the additional details relevant to the owner of the account.

Transaction List (Tag 61)

Value Date

Displays the value date of the transaction of the account as present in MT942 message.

Entry Date

Displays the transaction entry date of the account as present in MT942 message.

Reference for Account Owner

Displays the transaction reference of the transaction. It will display the details as present in MT942 message.

Amount Type

Displays the amount type as debit or credit. This will be indicated by Dr. or Cr. and appropriate symbol.

Note:

If the transaction is reversal credit or reversal debit the denotation will be RC and RD respectively.

Amount

Displays the amount with the account currency. Currency information will not be part of MT942 message, hence the information is retrieved from e-Banking database.

Note:

All transactions with amount credited into account will be displayed in green color and with amount debited into account will be displayed in black color with negative sign.
